As many of you know I am a member of Crowdtap and have several postings for you guys to join to be part of a bigger picture. Back in late August early September I was one of a lucky handful chosen to host a 'Cardi Party' In Store Party! This allowed me to take 3 of my friends to Old Navy and sample all of their newest skirts, cardigans, and scarves. Here is the best part: Me and my 3 friends were able to take home each of our favorite skirts, cardis, and scarves for FREE!
Before the big party we talked about it for weeks, even before all the info came in the mail! We all researched online a preview of what we would hopefully be seeing in store, everything from brightly colored skirts and cardis to beautifully designed scarves. I held our party on a Wednesday morning. We all work full time, and are full time mommys, with the kids in school and a carefully coordinated day off for all of us we got some much needed some face time with each other. And what better way of doing that than with a shopping trip! We all met at my house at 8am, just after school drop off for the kiddos. We stopped for some liquid energy (aka coffee) and headed to the store for opening. I wanted to get in first thing to introduce myself to the manager on duty and the dressing room attendant and I wanted to get there before anyone went on breaks!

The manager was GREAT, as always! She was so accepting of everything! She set us up with the dressing room attendant! We shopped and picked a bunch of stuff out to try on then went and all played dress up! It was so much fun! I saw one of my friends trying on colors which I have never seen her in! And one of my friends was actually enjoying and looking great in scarves after admitting to disliking them before we even got to the store. The dressing room attendant wasn't there today so we had a free for all in the dressing rooms, posing for pics and enjoying the mirrors all around us! All of the staff on this day were great and really made the girls and I feel comfortable!
We all tried on several ensembles and settled on a few things we couldn't live with out! And have vowed to go back and buy the rest! One of my girls got a black cardigan, with a grey skirt and an infinity black and grey scarf. Another got the same as me with black, grey and white leopard print cardi, a grey skirt with a scarf just like the cardigan. And the other got a pink cardi, with a grey skirt and a scarf with sail boat prints. All the clothes we tried on fit well, but just as with any clothes not everything or every color is meant for everybody! We truly had a great time with this sample and share!
